My favorite part about teaching at 色色研究所 is: being able to minister to helpers by doing what I love most.
When I鈥檓 not teaching, I love to: spend time in nature with my family, wander through neighboring downtowns, read research, work out, dance while cooking (work in progress)- and try new viral recipes, while intermittently chasing, playing, or crawling with my son. It is as messy as it sounds.
In my classes, students can expect: to engage in multidimensional learning by combining art, culture, self-expression, and lots of collaboration to move learning and skills from the head into the body and muscle memory.
My best advice to a new student in my program is to: find your own voice and groove when it comes to learning and executing. You are wonderfully made with a divine purpose.
Because of my influence, I most want my students to become: clinicians with their distinctive voices and missions to the world.
The myth-busting truth about my discipline I most want people to understand is: that most effective helpers and healers put their own oxygen mask on first.
A quote that influences how I live is: If one is lucky, a solitary fantasy can totally transform a million realities. Dr. Maya Angelou
